Official Inauguration of the Coslada 2025 Festivities
From this afternoon, the Coslada 2025 Festivities are underway. Actually, the peñas already started the activities yesterday, but today was the official inauguration moment.
From the catwalk of Teatro la Jaramilla, influencer and Coslada native Marina Rivers, accompanied by the Municipal Government team, has been responsible for unveiling the complete program prepared by the Culture and Festivities Department of the Coslada City Council.
Rivers, in her speech in front of hundreds of people gathered in the Plaza Mayor, praised her roots, her friends, her Coslada relatives, and her neighborhood.

“Coslada is the city that saw me grow up, although every time I say I’m from here, someone asks: ‘Where is that?’ Well, it’s right here, in the center of everything. A nodal city, with a passing name… but for me, it has never been just a passing place. It has been and continues to be my roots, my neighborhood, my story”, she commented in her speech.
Furthermore, she proudly expressed her joy of being from Coslada because, as she said, “being from here is not just a location. It’s a way of life. Of studying in the La Rambla library. Of enjoying a good evening in the Puerto neighborhood. Of running into someone you know on every corner… and yet, knowing that there’s always someone new to meet”.

After Marina Rivers’ speech, the music took over with the renowned artists Marwan and Funambulista, a genre that plays a significant role in these 2025 Festivities and can be enjoyed again tomorrow, before the traditional fireworks, with Merino and Pole, all at the Vía football field.
These are just a few examples of a program that offers alternatives for all ages and can be checked on the municipal website www.coslada.es.
