The meeting that brings together more companies and entities each year has been presented today.
The councilor of Economy, Employment, Commerce, and Tourism, Fernando Romero, presented this morning Emplea Coslada 2025, the largest employment forum in the Corredor del Henares, which will take place on March 19 at the Antonio López cultural center in the city.
This is the VI edition of this Forum, which will have the participation of more than 30 companies with active job offers exceeding 300, as well as various institutions and entities such as AEDHE. Due to the high number of participants, the event will be held on the ground floor of the cultural center to have more space.
The councilor responsible for Economy, Employment, Commerce, and Tourism, Fernando Romero, emphasized that this is the «largest employment event in the Corredor del Henares, which is consolidating year by year with the increasing presence of companies. The goal is to connect companies and people seeking employment. Our City’s Employment Agency, which currently has 40 job offers open, will be present.»
In addition to the informational stands of the different companies and entities, several specific workshops will be held throughout the day with the aim of improving employability, providing useful tools for job seekers to achieve this goal. One of them will involve a simulation with virtual reality.
There will also be a roundtable discussion on sectors with high demand for employment, with the participation of the Spanish Logistics Center, Mercamadrid, the Construction Labor Foundation, and the Konecta Foundation, dedicated to green employment.
The consolidation of Emplea Coslada is supported by the sustained increase in participant numbers in recent editions. In 2023, there were 20 companies (with 210 vacant positions) and 10 collaborating entities, with 300 attendees. In 2024, 26 companies participated (263 vacant positions) along with a total of 16 collaborating entities, totaling 520 attendees.
For the 2025 edition, as of today, the participation of 29 companies (301 vacant positions) and 18 collaborating entities has been registered.
The sixth edition of the Emplea Coslada Forum, the largest in the Corredor del Henares, will take place on March 19.
